♕ Doctor Who Meme: Two Quotes (1/2)
↳ The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t necessarily soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
doctor who meme revamp | six companions (4/6) | Amy Pond
You see, this is what happens when you travel alone for too long. Well, listen to me, Doctor. We can’t be like him. We have to be better than him.

From wintermoth (thanks again!):
Amy…. Gryffindor. She’s not passive or patient enough for Hufflepuff, and she’s not clever or witty enough for Ravenclaw.
See, a lot of people draw parallels between her and Rose, and they should because they are definitely there. (…Moffat @_@) She, like Rose before her, is the light keeping him from being lost in the dark when no one else can. Martha and Donna didn’t take shit most of the time, but neither of them could stop the Doctor in the way Rose did. She made him spare a Dalek, for Christ’s sake. Amy stopped him from killing the Star Whale and the dude in A Town Called Mercy - those are just off the top of my head, I’m sure there are more.
She’s fiery and has a sharp tongue, clever and ambitious, but she lacks that…sort of edge we tend to associate with Slytherin. Unlike the Doctor, she is rarely malicious. She may bite your head off, but usually she’s attacked first in some way. The only time I can recall her being deliberately cruel was when she condemned Madame Kovarian to death in that alternate timeline, but that was for Melody.
She is very caring, is daring, reckless sometimes, and has a lot of nerve. She is also unwaveringly loyal to the Doctor, and to Rory as well, especially after she sorts out her feelings there. Sure she was a little selfish, but we all are, to some degree.
In the end, it was her love for and loyalty to Rory that made her jump off the roof with him, and then turn her back on the Weeping Angel.
“He always leaves you, doesn’t he?” “Even when he left me, he came back. He saved me.”
